Our company is a local plumbing wholesaler currently seeking a motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Warehouse/Counter Sales Representative. If you have a passion for the plumbing industry and enjoy providing exceptional customer service, this could be the perfect role for you

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner at the sales counter
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Provide product information, technical support, and recommendations to customers
  • Handle incoming phone calls and respond to inquiries promptly
  • Answer emails as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory management
  • Inventory cycle counts
  • Select and pack orders for delivery or customer pick-up
  • Receive shipments and verify for accuracy
  • Operate forklift as needed
  • Assist with backflow test kit calibrations as needed
  • Provide exceptional customer service to build strong relationships and promote customer loyalty

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Must be physically capable of safely lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds and operating warehouse equipment
  • Valid CA driver's license with a clean driving record

Desired skills:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or counter sales position, preferably in the plumbing or building materials industry
  • QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions
