PRIDE Health is hiring Psychotherapists for one of our clients based in Brooklyn. They are seeking Licensed professionals (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LCAT) to work in an outpatient clinic treating consumers with severe mental illnesses. Role: Psychotherapist (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, or LCAT)
Location: Brooklyn, NY 11238 (Community Behavioral Health Clinic)
Overview: The Psychotherapist will be responsible for providing psychotherapy to and managing the clinical needs of a caseload of adults living with serious mental illness. They will maintain consumer information in the electronic health record and coordinate services with other providers.
Pay: $62.4k – 72.8k salary (Direct Hire), $30 – 35/hour (Contract) dependent upon experience and licensure. $2500 yearly stipend for on-call service.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm (some flexibility is desired), one rotating Saturday per month. Hybrid Schedule (in office 2 days/week)
Job Duties:
· Provides clinical treatment in accordance with scope of practice and regulations.
· Actively monitors the integrity of consumer data; responsible for the reliability and accuracy of clinical data housed in Electronic Health Record and Practice Management software.
· Documents all services and maintains the strict confidentiality of consumers currently engaged in or formerly a recipient of treatment services.
· Conducts limited outreach and marketing to potential referral sources (internal and external); active liaison with community service providers, hospitals, and other prospective referral sources may be required.
· Coordinates care with clinical (Nurse Practitioners, Psychiatrists) and non-clinical administrative staff; may coordinate with external clinicians as well.
· Utilizes evidence-based approaches to treatment; health/mental health integration, rehabilitation and recovery, and wellness approaches are prominently featured.
Skills/Requirements:
· 2-3 years of experience in a similar role preferred (internship experience accepted).
· Active NYS LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, or LCAT required.
· National Provider ID Number (NPI Number) required.
· Experience working with underserved populations and direct service to people living with serious, persistent mental illness preferred.
· Experience using Microsoft Suite, general computer literacy required.
