The Physician Billing Manager acts as a liaison between departments, director, management and staff. Responsible for overseeing the development, coordination
integration, communication, implementation and performance evaluation of operating policies and procedures. Responsible for the oversight and management of
the staff and coordinate office staff activities. Oversee and support the supervision, development and motivation of department employees. The Manager will participate
in developing departmental goals, objectives and systems. Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

*Ensures insurance follow up is performed accurately and timely, maximizing utilization of insurance websites.
*Ensures accuracy of adjustments and balances.*Oversees, reviews and analyzes productivity statistics and reviews with director, reporting any issues, and recommends new approaches for enhancing employee's productivity.*Assist Supervisors to reach department performance levels.

*Handles patient complaints to conclusion.
*Assists in implementation of approved administrative systems.

*Implementation of quality control measures.
(HIPAA and new laws of medical field).
*Monitors information related to operations.

Skills and Knowledge:
*Knowledge of HIPAA Regulations and Maintains current industry knowledge.

Other Requirements:

*A bachelor's degree.
*Minimum 3 year experience, in a healthcare setting.

*Three (3) years supervisory experience.
