What we are looking for

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate of Arts degree from an accredited school or technical certification preferred
  • 5 years’ experience in building maintenance required with knowledge of local building codes, carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, heating, air conditioning and ventilation systems, boilers and other building systems
  • Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred
  • Valid in-state Driver’s license and meet Company insurability requirements
  • Department of Labor approval required
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow instructions and ask questions when unclear on what to do.
  • Work effectively as a team member.
  • Observes safety and security procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping, and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and/or assess the lift load to ask for necessary assistance. Ability to climb ladders and handle heights.
