Job DescriptionJob Description

RISE Housing and Support Services has an opportunity for a dedicated and self-motivated individual with experience in addiction, case management, homelessness, or other related human service fields, to join our agency as our new Assistant Clinical Director. A successful candidate must be able to support and advise our Program Directors on service recipient and program management decision-making, and resolve crisis situations in a calm and confident manner. Must possess a deep respect for the people we serve and be able to inspire that in others.

RISE offers an Assistant Clinical Director:

  • A starting salary range of $67,000 to $73,000 per year
  • A $1500 bonus after 6 months of employment
  • A generous time off package: In your 1st year, earn up to 3 weeks of vacation time, 3 weeks of combined sick and personal time, enjoy up to 11 holidays, and a day off for your birthday

Overview of Job Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and supporting the leadership of multiple agency programs, including DOH, OASAS, and HUD
  • Ensuring high standards of service delivery and policy adherence
  • Engaging with community providers to maintain positive communication and referrals
  • Supporting crisis management
  • Modeling positive and appropriate behaviors and supporting professional development for staff

To qualify you must have:

  • A Master’s Degree in a human services field and two years of experience
    • Other combinations of education and experience will be considered; must be human services focused
  • A year of experience in a leadership role
  • Familiarity with Case Management, Substance Use, and/or Homelessness related services
  • An ability to inspire teams of people in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal boundaries
  • Our shared belief system in areas such as compassion, respect, positivity, and inclusion
