Summary
The Clinical Account Manager supports stakeholders globally from pre-sale through the life of the account. The CAM educates sales teams on clinical research, changes in the field, and best practices for HIFU physicians. They engage with potential clients during the sales process and maintain relationships post-sale, providing clinical education and expertise in prostate disease management, emerging therapies, and the competitive landscape. Additionally, the CAM schedules training for new clients, conducted by the Case Support Specialist.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesPre-Sale
- Provide technical clinical expertise to colleagues and potential customers, including education on HIFU best practices.
Account Management
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Serve as the main point of contact from point of sale to end of relationship.
- Coordinate with Operating Room Management, Nursing Staff, Anesthesia, and Sterile Processing Departments for training and logistical support.
- Facilitate case reviews to ensure quality of treatments.
Scheduling
- Handle scheduling requests for treatments and training, including setting up remote case support software.
Subject Matter Expert
- Train internal customer-facing employees on clinical data and HIFU best practices.
- Develop and maintain clinical and patient considerations training for physicians.
- Participate in relevant meetings and provide feedback to the organization.
Maintain Expertise
- Stay updated on prostate disease management, emerging therapies, and the competitive landscape.
- Cross-train to provide back-up treatment support as needed.
- Travel domestically and internationally to support treatments, including weekends if necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Nursing or Biomedical Engineering preferred.
- Five (5) years of medical device or nursing experience required.
- Urology or ultrasound experience is a plus.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills required.
- Ability to manage confidential information professionally.
- Excel under pressure with strong problem-solving and motivational skills.
- High energy and urgency to react quickly and decisively.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Experience in training healthcare professionals and providers.
- Ability to move medical equipment weighing up to 30 pounds.
