Job Title: Manufacturing Technician 

Location: Union County, NJ 

Shift: Sun-Wed, 9pm-8am 

Pay: $50,000/yr

Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Sterile Manufacturing Technician to join our team. In this role, you will perform critical tasks in a GMP cleanroom environment, following stringent aseptic techniques and adhering to all safety and documentation standards. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Sterile Manufacturing: Execute manufacturing processes in a GMP cleanroom, ensuring compliance with aseptic techniques to maintain product quality and safety.
  • Prepare Manufacturing Spaces: Conduct line clearances, perform cleaning, calibrate instruments, and verify system suitability to ready spaces for production.
  • Manage Materials: Gather, prepare, and organize materials essential for manufacturing, ensuring all resources are available and ready.
  • Operate Equipment: Utilize and maintain radio synthesizer chemistry machines and automated dispensing systems to prepare drug products efficiently and accurately.
  • Maintain Documentation: Complete batch records in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) to ensure thorough and accurate records.
  • Ensure Safety: Adhere to radiation safety principles during all preparation and production activities, maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Manage Inventory: Monitor inventory levels, perform package testing for radiopharmaceuticals, and submit purchase requisitions for low inventory items.
  • Collaborate with Team: Communicate effectively with team members, manage work calendars, and assist with manufacturing investigations and technology transfers.

 

Education and Qualifications:

  • Educational Requirement: Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in a relevant field, or exceptional experience in pharmaceutical/radiopharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Experience Level: Entry-level candidates or those with limited experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in troubleshooting basic mechanical equipment issues and working with varied software programs.
  • Learning and Adaptability: Eager to learn, open to feedback, and adaptable to new challenges.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Word.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Preferred Experience: Experience with aseptic gowning, cleanroom environments, and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) is a plus.
  • Radiation Safety: Comfort with occupational radiation exposure; training will be provided.
