Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Staff Pharmacist to join our team for day shifts at a Long Term Care facility in Vinton, Virginia. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medications to residents, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide comprehensive medication counseling to patients and healthcare staff.
  • Conduct medication regimen reviews to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
  • Monitor and manage medication therapy for residents.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Shift:

  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:30am - 7:00pm
  • Rotating weekends.

Qualifications:

  • Pharmacy experience.
  • LTC experience a plus
  • Virginia Pharmacy license.

Pay:

  • $60/hour
