Job DescriptionJob Description

Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement and storage of materials within our warehouse or distribution center. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and operating heavy equipment such as cranes and clamp trucks.

Responsibilities:

- Safely and efficiently load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse or distribution center

- Operate heavy equipment, such as cranes and clamp trucks, to transport materials

- Perform order picking and packing duties to fulfill customer orders

- Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments

- Maintain inventory accuracy by performing regular cycle counts

- Organize and maintain warehouse storage areas

- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols, including OSHA regulations

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth workflow and meet production goals

Experience:

- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role preferred

- Familiarity with warehouse operations, order picking, and shipping/receiving processes

- Proficient in operating heavy equipment, such as cranes or clamp trucks

- Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to [insert weight limit] pounds

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management

- Excellent organizational skills to maintain a well-organized warehouse environment
