Job Description

Data Entry:
Inputting and updating information in the company’s database or ERP system.
Ensuring accuracy of shipping, receiving, and inventory data.
Recording details of imported and exported goods.

Documentation:
Preparing and maintaining import/export documentation such as invoices, bills of lading, and customs documentation.
Verifying the accuracy of documents and ensuring they comply with regulations.

Compliance:
Ensuring all data and documentation comply with relevant import/export regulations and company policies.
Staying updated on changes in import/export regulations and adjusting documentation accordingly.

Communication:
Coordinating with other departments such as logistics, purchasing, and sales to gather and verify information.
Communicating with customs officials and other regulatory bodies to ensure smooth processing of shipments.

Tracking Shipments:
Monitoring the status of shipments and updating records as necessary.
Ensuring timely and accurate data entry related to shipment arrivals, departures, and delays.

Reporting:
Generating reports on import/export activities for management review.
Analyzing data to identify trends and potential issues.

Inventory Management:
Keeping track of inventory levels and movements.
Assisting with inventory audits and reconciliation.

Support:
Providing administrative support to the logistics and supply chain teams.
Assisting with resolving discrepancies or issues related to data entry.

The role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work with various software applications. Familiarity with import/export regulations and documentation is also crucial.

Candidates will need to pass testing with intermediate / advanced scores.
