Primary Job duties:

· Verify patient information by interviewing patients; recording medical history; and confirming purpose of visit.

· Prepare patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature; reporting patient history summary.

· Administer injections to include immunizations.

· Complete services and functions related to patient care coordination including medical records requests, referrals and data collection.

· Maintain documentation and communication with the internal team, external customers and patients, answer questions on the phone or through the patient portal; and participate in monitoring the clinical inbox.

· Secure patient information and maintain patient confidentiality by completing and safeguarding medical records.

· Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures.

 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

· Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited program is required. Must be certified (CMA) or registered (RMA)

· Minimum of 1 year recent experience working in a medical office and administering vaccinations

· Familiarity with the Georgia Immunization Registry (GRITS)

 

 

Salary:

· $19.00 - $21.00 per hour based on years’ experience
