Position Overview:
- Title: Mold PM Technician/Tool Maker
- Location: Conroe, Texas
- Shift: 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Key Responsibilities:
Mold Preventive Maintenance Technician:
- Mold Preparation: Retrieve, prepare, and store molds according to the molding schedule.
- Preventive Maintenance: Conduct PMs on molds, prioritize based on needs, and maintain detailed logs.
- Documentation: Keep accurate records of all PM activities.
- Scheduling: Collaborate with the Molding Department to avoid conflicts between PMs and production schedules.
- Improvement: Suggest and implement enhancements for efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to GMPs and regulatory requirements.
Tool Maker:
- Production Preparation: Prepare molds for production based on blueprints and specifications.
- Inspection and Repair: Inspect tools for defects, perform repairs, and work with precision tools.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams and select appropriate equipment for tasks.
- Precision Work: Execute tasks with exact tolerances and dimensions.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 1-3 years in plastic injection molds; experience with injection molds, hot runner systems, pneumatic, and hydraulic components. Journeyman Toolmaker or equivalent experience preferred.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED.
- Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Safety Focus: Must follow safety rules and work practices.
Additional Skills:
- Independence: Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Communication: Must be able to read and write in English.
