This early learning childcare position support the work of the Y, a leading charity committed to strengthening our community. These roles help to create a positive learning environment, nurture relationships, and support the potential of all children at site as part of the overall daycare experience.
IMMEDIATE VACANCY:- TEACHER - Full Time; Monday - Friday
- Must be 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Two (2) years direct experience with children under age 13 required.
- Previous experience working with children in a developmental setting preferred.
- Day 1 of Employment: Completed Physical and TB Test (within the last year)
- Day 30 of Employment: Completed CPR, AED, First Aid, Blood Borne Pathogens and Child Abuse Prevention
- Day 90 of Employment: Completed New Employee Orientation, Sexual Harassment, NYS OCFS Health & Safety and ALICE (Active Shooter).
- Day 180 of Employment: Completed 15 hours of childcare related training (then 15 hours annually)
