Wallace Roofing is a full-service roofing contractor focused on quality installations for over 25 years. We are searching for a Commercial Roofing Field Superintendent to oversee new construction as well as re-roofing projects from beginning to end.

5 years of commercial roofing experience is required to be considered for this position.

Duties: (Including but not limited to)

  • Coordinate with the project manager and safety team to implement and maintain safe, high-quality roof installations
  • Reading and takeoffs from Plans/Specs for new/re-roof projects.
  • Coordinating employees to form appropriate crew sizes for each project.
  • On-site management of assigned projects daily
  • Prioritizing project schedules for multiple projects
  • Coordinate material deliveries for all projects.
  • Insure inventory of materials received at the project site.
  • Participate in all pre-construction meetings.
  • Communicate with customers continually regarding scheduling.
  • Coordinate Final Inspections with Customer/Manufacturer.
  • Complete Project closeout documents.
  • Ensure overall Quality Control of projects.
  • Assist in estimating on an as-needed basis.
  • Travel as needed

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Multiple years of field experience with commercial roof construction.
  • Experience and knowledge of a wide range of commercial roofing systems and roofing manufacturers.
  • Read and understand specifications and blueprints.
  • Ability to work with Microsoft Office Programs (Excel Word Outlook).
  • Willing to be trained and use company software.
  • Requires a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
