Our client is seeking a Vendor Program Manager to join their team full-time. This position is 100% remote. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $95,000 to $120,000 per year.
Responsibilities:
Partner with external partners and vendors to foster efficient and collaborative partnerships and integrations.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather input on vendor capabilities, timelines, and budget requirements.
Act as a liaison between employees, internal support areas, and other departments.
Implement change management proficiently and effectively.
Ensure efficient implementation of Vendor Management processes and Procurement policies.
Advocate for and implement new processes to enhance efficiency, innovation, and speed.
Conduct research to identify the best products and suppliers in terms of value, delivery, and quality, including controlling spend, managing risk, and fostering a culture of long-term savings on procurement costs.
Requirements:
Knowledge of project management with the ability to mentor others.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
Knowledge of Visio.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Experience:
BA/BS in Business Management or a related discipline.
5+ years of vendor strategy or similar vendor program management experience.
3+ years in a sourcing management-focused role.
6+ years in negotiating supplier contracts.
6+ years in purchasing.
Experience working with IT vendors.
