Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Guidewire Certified Tester to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in testing Guidewire applications and a solid understanding of insurance domain processes. As a Guidewire Certified Tester, you will be responsible for developing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for Guidewire applications, including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure software meets specified requirements and quality standards.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and design test scenarios that align with business goals.
• Identify, document, and track defects, and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Participate in test automation efforts, if applicable, and support the development of automated test scripts.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and provide feedback on testing processes and methodologies.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Guidewire features, industry trends, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Guidewire Certification in one or more of the following: PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of [X] years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on Guidewire applications.
• Proven experience with Guidewire testing tools and methodologies.
• Strong understanding of insurance business processes and domain knowledge.
• Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, and using defect tracking tools.
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks and scripting languages is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of other insurance-related technologies and tools.
• Experience with performance and security testing.

Pay: $35.00 - $37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
