Note

  • The approximate end date is 12/31/24 but could be extended to 01/31/26. There is little change of extension or conversion beyond that.
  • Remote is okay but need someone who can work a CST schedule due to the large amount of communication required as this individual will need to be available to answer questions and assist in working through challenges.

Duties: As a BI Developer, you will work with data warehousing technologies, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and reporting tools to create robust business intelligence solutions that help organizations effectively analyze and interpret their data.

The BI Developer will automate reports and scorecards, build exception reports, and set up processes to create efficiencies for the team, enabling quicker report generation. The department is leveraging the Power Platform Suite to replace Excel-based reporting. Additionally, the BI Developer will support individuals in becoming more comfortable using these tools and working within the programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Define business enhancement and reporting requirements, including baseline functionality and system enhancements to augment business processes.
  • Plan, design, and develop innovative BI solutions using an enterprise data warehouse environment.
  • Provide overall guidance for data quality and business reporting.
  • Develop and document BI coding standards, naming conventions, templates, and metadata.
  • Provide technical and functional development of reporting solutions and data analysis.
  • Ensure the BI environment is optimized to address business needs by designing and creating tables, diagnosing and repairing user and performance issues, and testing, monitoring, and tuning software.
  • Prepare training materials.

Education:

  • Degree in computer science, information technology, or a related computer-based discipline.

 

This individual will be working in the Trusts Division within the Trust Strategy & Support Department. This department handles any core function originating from data within Trusts, with a focus on high-level projects and initiatives related to corporate objectives. These projects emphasize new reporting and/or visualization tools to assist stakeholders in performing their best work. The department also provides prescriptive analysis to identify potential problems and recommend steps for resolution.
