Gwynedd Manufacturing, a growing defense contractor located in North Wales, PA, is a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility dedicated to producing quality products for the U.S. Department of Defense and various U.S. Federal Law Enforcement Agencies. The CNC Machine Cleaner is a professional who is a vital part of a CNC shop. They are responsible for maintaining and cleaning the equipment on the plant floor and warehouse which will be moved into production to support growing departments and product lines. Machine Cleaner responsibilities include working off a machine list provided by the Company’s Management staff .The Machine Cleaner will generally but not limited to handle all aspects of cleaning the equipment to make it ready to go. This will at time include working with basic hand tools to remove panels, parts, motors, cabinets, and other parts of the machine.

Requirements

Responsibilities :

  • Clean and prep machines and equipment for production use
  • Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
  • Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
  • Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to equipment
  • Stock and maintain supply for cleaning
  • Follow all health and safety regulations

Requirements:

  • Proven working experience in a similar field
  • Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
  • Integrity and ability to work independently
  • High school degree
