As an Office Secretary, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our company's operations run smoothly and efficiently.

SK Houston Constructions is a family-owned company specializing in remodeling and construction. SK is a dynamic and innovative company and one of the leading companies in the area. With a location in North Carolina, we are about to open our first office and showroom in town. We are dedicated to fostering a family environment, upholding integrity, and building long-term relationships with our employees and customers.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized, efficient, and professional Secretary to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support, manage many aspects of the office functions, and ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Assist with day-to-day administrative tasks including managing schedules, preparing correspondence, handling phone calls, and maintaining files.
  • Scheduling: Organize and manage appointments, meetings, outgoing calls, and follow-ups.
  • Supply Management: Ensure and order necessary materials.
  • Data Management: Draft, proofread, and edit documents, emails, reports, invoices, and contracts. Maintain and update databases, records, and files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Office Management: Maintain office supplies and equipment. Ensure the office environment is clean, professional, and well-organized.
  • Support Projects: Assist with special projects as needed, providing research, coordination, and administrative support.
  • Accounting Tasks: Track expenses and updates.
  • Social Media: Upload posts as necessary and organize online presence.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative or secretarial role.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field (not required).

Skills:

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Google Drive, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Social Media management and editing skills are a bonus.
