Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join our team We are looking for someone with a minimum of 2-3 years experience providing desktop support in a corporatte seeting preferably finacial services or trading floor. This is a long term indefintie contract role with 40 hours per week required/expected. 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance with computer hardware and software
    • Mid Level expeerience with Win10 OS, MS Teams, MS 365 Products, Iphone Basics, Wyse Terminals
    • Unsterdantding of Virtualization, VDI theaory, hands on experience with AV equipment
    • Build laptops and desktops 
  • Resolve issues for clients via phone, in person, or electronically
  • Recommend hardware and software improvements
  • Track customer issues and resolutions

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in IT, customer service, or other related fields specifically financial services 
  • Ability to build rapport with clients
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a mangement team that is not onsite 
  • Excellent punctuality and attendance 
  • Relaible commuincation 
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
  • Positive and professional demeanor
