3rd: $17.50
Shift: 12 hour shifts / Monday-Thursday
Day shift: 7:00am-7:00pm
Night shift: 7:00pm-7:00am
Job Summary: As a Quality Inspector for Airsoft Cans, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of airsoft cans produced in our manufacturing facility. You will conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, production processes, and finished products to maintain the highest standards of quality and compliance with regulatory requirements. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and commitment to excellence will play a critical role in upholding our reputation for delivering safe and reliable airsoft cans to our customers.
Responsibilities:
Inspect Raw Materials: Examine incoming raw materials such as metal, plastic, and propellant to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Monitor Production Processes: Regularly monitor production lines to verify that manufacturing processes are being executed according to established protocols and quality control procedures.
Perform In-Process Inspections: Conduct inspections at various stages of the production process to identify any deviations from quality standards and address issues promptly.
Conduct Final Product Inspections: Thoroughly inspect finished airsoft cans for defects, functionality, and overall quality before they are released for packaging and distribution.
Utilize Testing Equipment: Use specialized equipment and tools, such as pressure gauges and leak detectors, to perform quality tests and ensure product integrity.
Document Inspection Results: Record inspection findings accurately in detailed reports, including any non-conformities or deviations from quality standards, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
Collaborate with Production Team: Work closely with production managers and line operators to address quality concerns, implement corrective actions, and continuously improve processes.
Maintain Compliance: Stay informed about relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards pertaining to airsoft cans, and ensure that all quality control activities adhere to these guidelines.
Participate in Quality Audits: Assist in conducting internal audits and inspections to assess compliance with quality management systems and identify areas for improvement.
Provide Training and Support: Offer guidance and training to production personnel on quality control procedures, inspection techniques, and best practices for maintaining product quality.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification in quality assurance is preferred.
- Proven experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the production of pressurized containers or similar products.
- Strong understanding of quality control principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards relevant to airsoft cans, such as ASTM standards for pressure vessels.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address quality issues effectively.
- Proficiency in using testing equipment and tools for quality assessments.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for documenting inspection results and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to upholding safety standards and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
