Job Responsibilities:
  • Schedules patient appointments, answers general questions and triages incoming patient phone calls.
  • Actively looks at clinic schedules in advance to ensure a positive experience for patients, staff, and physicians. 
  • Checks patients in and out and collects demographic information and payments.
  • Obtains referrals for visits and creates referrals for specialty care and outside testing.
  • Schedules appointments and coordinates with ancillary departments or other care providers as needed.
  • Scan laboratory, radiology, and other test results into electronic patient charts.
  • Coordinates hospital and ER follow-up documentation.
  • Maintains confidentiality of patient information
