Local Pay: $55/hr
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
JOB SUMMARY: The Surgical Technologist helps prepare the operating room by setting up sterile surgical instruments and supplies. During the surgical procedure, the surgical tech is responsible for anticipating the needs of the surgeon by passing instruments and supplies, performing sponge/ sharps counts, and providing solutions to the surgeons. The surg tech will ensure there are no breaks in the sterile technique.
REQUIREMENTS:
- BLS cert
- Must be a CST
- (Mandatory Huddle 6:50 am)
- Call: 2-3 call shifts in a 6 week schedule. call shifts can be on the weekend or during the week 11p-7a.
- Holidays: on call
