Accounting Administrator

Monday – Friday:  Full-time/Flexible Hours

THIS COMPANY  is a progressive, multi-disciplined, firm in Burlington, MA.

We are seeking an organized, self-starting office professional who is experienced in Accounting and Administrative functions in addition to being proficient in QuickBooks (on-line), Outlook, Word, Excel (and Power Point a plus) to join our growing company

  • Handle all Accounts Payables
  • Handle all Accounts Receivables
  • Generate and check all outgoing invoices
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Outlook is a must
  • Deltek: Entry, Financial Management Reporting, Maintaining Entries
  • Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
  • Paychex:  Bi-Weekly Payroll Processing; Prevailing Wage Entries/reporting
  • Balances General Ledger and subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries
  • Banking: Administration of Deposits, Loans, Reconciliations, etc.
  • Taxes: Interact with Accountant in preparation of taxes;
  • Follow-up and resolution to IRS, MASS Tax, and DUA Notices
  • Administration of Monthly Expense Reports; Employee Reimbursements
  • CC Accounts Administration:  Receipts, QB entry, reconciliations, disputes, etc.
  • Obtain web site access to all vendors, if applicable
  • Proactively seek cost cutting measures for recurring expenses
  • Develop Financial Policies and Procedures Manual
  • Filing reports; advising management on needed actions.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing tasks and communicating to management
  • Maintain organized, auditable financial filing system electronically and/or hard-copy
  • Accounting degree a plus
  • Handling all expenses with Party Chiefs/Crews.
