Job DescriptionJob Description

Drumm Farm Center for Children in Independence, MO is currently accepting applications for a full-time master’s level therapist with LPC or LMSW license in Missouri. Candidates seeking LPC licensure are eligible for employment as well, as long as coursework is near completion. Drumm can and will provide supervision for candidates seeking licensure.

Duties include providing a range of therapeutic services to children in foster care and young adults experiencing homelessness in Jackson County. Due to the complex situations of the youth being served, applicants must be willing to provide services in nontraditional settings (i.e. schools, community organizations, residences, and other community locations). Services will mostly be provided during regular business hours with some occasional hours during the evenings and weekends. A valid driver’s license is required. Previous work experience with a diverse range of children and young adults, including youth who identify as LGBTQ+, is a benefit and a strong understanding of cultural competency is essential.
