Shift: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm

Location: Oklahoma City, OK

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Apartment Maintenance Supervisor to oversee our maintenance team and ensure the efficient operation of our apartment community. The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for supervising maintenance tasks, coordinating schedules, and ensuring all work orders are completed promptly. With your technical expertise and leadership skills, you will contribute to maintaining the overall appearance and functionality of our property while providing exceptional service to our residents.

As A Member of This Team:

  • Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
  • Schedule and prioritize daily maintenance tasks, including repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
  • Ensure all work orders are completed in a timely manner and to high-quality standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of grounds, buildings, and equipment to identify and address maintenance issues.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and other building systems and equipment.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for larger maintenance projects and repairs.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment and oversee the ordering and stocking process.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, conducting safety inspections and training sessions.
  • Respond to after-hours emergencies as needed, providing on-call support to resolve maintenance issues.
  • Assist with budget preparation and management, monitoring expenses and ensuring cost-effective maintenance practices.

You Will Need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification preferred.
  • Proven experience in maintenance or facilities management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures, including OSHA standards.
  • Availability to respond to after-hours emergencies and participate in on-call rotation.
