Sr. Project Coordinator-Flooring

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Coordinator to join our team in Houston, Texas. You will play a critical role in helping our company accurately manage the scheduling and delivery of materials and labor required for various construction projects.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with Estimators, Superintendents, and Project Managers, verbally and in writing, to ensure project specifications, materials, and descriptions are accurate
  • Coordinate multiple projects, ensuring materials and installations are scheduled, assigned, and supervised
  • Communicate with vendors/distributors to determine the availability of products and pricing
  • Coordinate, document, and communicate the status of project materials, resources, and information
  • Create and manage Purchase Orders, Change Orders, and Work Orders, verifying for accuracy, and entering data into Record/Project Management Systems
  • Responsible for placing material purchase orders and documenting lead times in Record/Project Management Systems
  • Respond with urgency and flexibility to meet frequently changing project schedules
  • Perform consistent, timely follow-ups with suppliers and customers
  • Work independently with a high degree of organization

Position Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of proven experience in a Construction Project Coordinator role
  • Knowledge of construction related coordination processes (contracts, materials, vendors, purchase orders, work orders, change orders)
  • Experience with Record and Project Management software (Field Lens, Procore, C/F Data, Job Runner, etc.) and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Must have a valid driver license
  • Must have a dependable mode of transportation
  • Must be able to pass a background check
