Utilities Control Room Operator

North Chicago, IL

3rd shift hours – Onsite

Automated Systems, Inc. is looking for a Utilities Control Room Operator for one of our global client’s Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Facility located in North Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will handle the monitors critical utility infrastructure for a Fortune 500 pharmaceutical manufacturer. Under general supervision will oversee and monitor plant utilities such as water, steam, compressed air, liquid nitrogen, electrical power, and HVAC.

Job Role Responsibilities:

· Monitor equipment for performance and alarm conditions

· Troubleshoot problems with utilities and partner with maintenance staff to resolve issues

· Operate and participate in startup, maintenance, and shutdown of utility equipment

· Perform all necessary quality checks

· Complete required documentation in a timely and accurate manner

· Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives to increase platform performance

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
  • Experience in a manufacturing/production environment preferred
  • Mechanical/technical experience in manufacturing or related fields preferred
  • Military experience a plus
