Residential Housing Inspections Project Manager

This position is full time in New York City and requires physical presence on job sites, in offices, and other locations. This is a 100% in person position.
Job Requirements:
1. Personally visit housing units in New York City for the purpose of evaluating them for lead contamination removal.
2. Document the condition of the housing unit with pictures, check lists, observations and extensive notes.
3. Use tablets, phones and computers to record and complete relevant documents.
4. You must be extremely flexible and collaborative with your co-team members and with residents.
5. Update various data sheets, systems, metrics and tracking systems so that we can verify the scope of work for lead abatement and to facilitate the temporary relocation of the resident while the lead removal is conducted.
6. Have an excellent customer service-oriented outlook and demeanor and demonstrate the ability to work in challenging, changing and stressful situations.
7. Coordinate with the outreach and relocation team for resident coordination, moveouts, temporary residential accommodations and return to their homes.
8. Ensure that standard operating procedures are developed, tested and implemented across all team members.
9. Other duties as assigned and or necessary for the successful removal of lead from tenant residences.
Requirements:
- 5 years of residential construction experience with an emphasis on lead abatement.
- Experience with residential construction especially related to abatement of lead in New York State and or New York City.
- Experience with working collaboratively with residents, building managers and superintendents, trades workers, abatement contractors, inspectors and consultant staff.
- Lead certification is a plus but not mandatory.
