Electrician

Spring Garden Electric, an electrical contractor who works on remodels and additions of beautiful Chester and Lancaster County Homes, is currently seeking Experienced and Entry-level electricians to fill our team as we grow. If you have experience in HVAC, plumbing, or construction or have worked as a mechanic, consider joining our team. We are willing to train interested and motivated individuals but also have a need for Experienced Electricians.

Experienced Electricians

• Work Experience: Previously worked as a foreman leading teams, training entry-level individuals and communicating with the home owner, contractor and other trade professionals
• Install new wiring and repair existing wiring, including drilling holes, installing boxes, and running wire to receptacles in homes and commercial spaces as well as training apprentices or entry-level electricians
• Ability to Read and Review blueprints
• Ability to Troubleshoot problems in order to find a solution for the customer. Mechanically Inclined with a knack for solving problems and fixing things. Fine motor skills in working with your hands. 
• Friendly and Able to Communicate with the homeowner, contractor and other trade professionals on electrical wiring concerns and needs. 
• Ability to work as a team player on a 2-person or 4-person crew
• Flexible: Able to pivot and adjust plans since things can change based on the homeowner's request
• Detailed-Oriented: Aware of small details and able to keep things organized 
• Safety-Minded: Values and follows safe working practices.
• Dependable: On time and ready to work each and every day
• Work consistent full-time hours, from 6:30 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with optional Saturday hours
• Must have a valid PA Driver's License 

Entry-Level

• Enjoy on-the-job training as an apprentice under experienced electricians
• Willingness to learn. Must have a background in HVAC, construction, plumbing, or car repair as a mechanic. We will provide on-the-job training for qualified candidates.
• Mechanically Inclined: A knack for solving problems and fixing things; have fine motor skills in working with your hands.
• Forward Thinking: Ability to look ahead and find something to do if foreman is talking with customer and not stand around waiting for direction
• Friendly: Enjoys being part of a team and working with others
• Drive to learn the trade as quickly as possible and move into a foreman role, running projects and training new entry-level individuals. This can happen as quickly as 1-year for  the right individual with no prior experience but most times takes 18-months+ of full-time employment. 
• Detailed-Oriented: Aware of small details and able to keep things organized 
• Safety-Minded: Values and follows safe working practices.
• Dependable: On time and ready to work each and every day
• Work consistent full-time hours, from 6:30 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with optional Saturday hours

What we offer our Electricians:

• Pay:
  • Experienced Electrician: $24-$28+, DOE
  • Entry-Level: $18-$20
• Optional Saturday hours 
• Earn an extra $10/hour for work performed on Saturdays
