The Project Coordinator - Purchasing Assistant will play a pivotal role in the efficient operation of a landscape construction company. This multifaceted position involves both procurement responsibilities and project management support. The successful candidate will be adept at coordinating purchases, managing inventory, and assisting with project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Vendor Management and Procurement:
o Source materials, equipment, and supplies from reliable vendors.
o Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts.
o Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers.
o Place purchase orders for timely delivery of goods.
Inventory Control:
o Monitor stock levels and anticipate purchasing needs.
o Ensure adequate inventory for ongoing projects.
o Track and manage stock replenishment.
Cost Analysis and Budgeting:
o Analyze pricing trends and seek cost-effective solutions.
o Collaborate with project managers to align purchasing with project budgets.
o Assist in estimating project costs.
