Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a Divorce Paralegal to become a part of our team in a new business unit.  This paralegal position is specifically for our new NY State Uncontested Divorces business, which focuses on assisting clients with filing and managing uncontested divorces in New York State. We are looking for an experienced paralegal who has experience with filing divorces and case management. Must be organized, a self-starter, and also great working as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the drafting and reviewing of divorce filing documents
  • Assist with managing cases and filings end-to-end
  • Communicate with clients and court staff
  • Record and store client information
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize various projects and deadlines
  • Assist with various administrative and office duties

​Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with divorce filings as a paralegal or similar role
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Entrepreneurial and able to juggle multiple responsibilities
