Quality Control Specialist

The quality team performs all tasks related to the quality assurances to meet client’s expectations. The roles and responsibilities listed are not meant to be all-inclusive.
Responsibilities
1.
Manage production timeline: Create quality reports at each development stage. Register them at client’s network. Response to Client’s inspections. Manage Initial Sample Inspection Report (ISIR) timeline, Manage single items/subsidiary items, Develop quality assurance plan at early stage mass production
2.
Quality Inspection Management: Establish standards for inspections at receiving, in-plant, and shipment and continuous monitoring.
3.
Manage quality records: Manage, analyze and improve defect rates at receiving, in-process, and at client facilities.
4.
Operate and manage inspections and calibrations of measuring tools and testers.
5.
Continuous Quality Management System management (Quality Five Stars and IATF16949) including response to field inspections.
6.
Manage job classifications, training, time and attendance, and qualifications of field quality inspectors.
7.
Manage Team’s Key Performance Index (KPI) and quality meetings
8.
Respond to client’s quality related requests. Prepare Improvement Plan and other requested documents.
9.
Analyze field claims data, defected items, and lower claims responsibilities.
Essential Functions/Physical Requirements
1.
Standing (frequency: constant) up to 4 hours continuously to work production line
2.
Walking (frequency: frequent) to move about location and around equipment
3.
Balancing to walk about the worksite and prevent falling
4.
Stooping/squatting/bending (frequency: occasional) to inspect equipment
5.
Reaching forward (frequency: constant) to reach parts and place bolts, up to 68 inches to use tools and work computers.
6.
Handling/feeling/gripping (frequency: constant) to assemble parts, use hand tools, grip bolts and dust covers.
7.
Lifting (frequency: frequent) : Maximum height of equipment : 17ft (Except : Main Air & Electrical Plumbing)
8.
Vision/depth perception (frequency: constant) to distinguish objects by sight and judge distance and spatial relationships
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the Quality Control Administrator is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration/noise. May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, or temperature fluctuation in areas of the facility. During facility maintenance, the emulsion may come into contact with the human body. He/She may be required to travel to clients’ facilities as required for customer services.
Required Education/Experience
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Science or Engineering
2. 1 Year Experience in quality control field ▶ Preferred

Fluent in Korean and English
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
3. Thorough understanding of quality control standards and methodology.
4. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
