Job Overview:

We are seeking a licensed master electrician in the state of Texas to join our team at Air United Mechanical LLC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and performing electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations. The candidate must hold a valid and active Texas master electrician license in good standing. This position will involve working on a variety of projects, from residential to commercial, and will require strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with the NEC and local codes.

2. Oversee and supervise electrical projects to ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards.

3. Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective and efficient solutions.

4. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure successful project completion.

5. Maintain accurate records of electrical work and ensure all necessary documentation is completed in compliance with regulations.

6. Provide guidance and training to apprentice electricians and other team members as needed.

7. Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and advancements in electrical technology.

 

Requirements:

1. Valid and active Texas master electrician license in good standing.

2. Proven experience as a master electrician with a strong track record of successful electrical projects.

3. Thorough knowledge of the NEC, local electrical codes, and industry best practices.

4. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

5. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

7. Commitment to safety and adherence to all relevant safety standards and protocols.

8. Physical ability to perform the duties of the job, including lifting, climbing, and working in various environments.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Ongoing professional development and additional certifications related to the electrical field.

2. Experience working in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

3. Familiarity with electrical estimating and project management software.
