3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic Direct Hire opening that will the week on Monday Nights at 7 pm to 5am 5-6 days a week depending on production schedules.
Hourly Salary Range based on experience in relation to the job description/interview includes a target range of 30-40/hr. plus overtime and a comprehensive benefit package

WHERE YOU FIT INMaintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting industrial and production equipment in the production facility including service of electrical and mechanical systems; maintenance of production equipment, physical plant, utilities, and grounds; and compliance with applicable policies and regulations. Coordinates with managers and contractors engaged in the repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and/or equipment. The position is also responsible for partnering with production management to proactively address issues or challenges and equipment needs to reduce potential downtime and schedule repairs accordingly.WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Actively works with the team on all maintenance, troubleshooting, electrical voltage industrial manufacturing projects, start-ups, inspections, installation, and repair of machinery and equipment while ensuring alignment with continuous improvement efforts to ensure an effective and expedited workflow.
  • Ensure effective prioritization of projects to maintain production including urgent repairs; preventive maintenance program; identifying and qualifying contractors; and ensuring necessary inventory, handling, and care of tools and equipment.
  • Engages with, proactively communicates to, and supports managers of the company to ensure partnership to constantly maintain an environment of coordination and collaboration to achieve company goals.
  • Timely and accurately maintains documentation such as checklists, logs, and reports.
  • Conducts research and analysis of maintenance improvements to make suggestions for continuous improvement.
  • Regularly monitors facilities and equipment; stays current in knowledge, understanding, and awareness of legal requirements; enforces adherence to requirements; advises management on needed actions.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
  • Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in Maintenance required.
  • Computerized Maintenance Management System experience.
  • Technical expertise in electrical, mechanical, and control maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Proven skill managing capital projects within budget and on time.
  • Flexibility to work all shifts, weekends, holidays as needed.
  • Ideal Candidate should have understanding of Tig Welding/Stainless Steel Fabrication
  • Knowledge and experience of experience PLC Controls and Electrical Components
WHAT WE VALUE
  • Food/Beverage industry preferred. Experience PLCs preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally to manage capital projects and achieve defined goals on time.
  • Experience with baking and/or packaging equipment is preferred such as baggers, palletizers, robots, and sealers
