New England Outdoor & Recreational Products / EZ4x4 LLC, - an established consumer goods company located in Waterbury, CT is searching for an energetic and motivated Sale Manager to help with existing sales, and build new sales within the U.S. and Canadian markets. EZGoal manufactures and sells goals and training equipment for hockey, lacrosse, soccer, baseball, and golf. EZGoal products are sold nationally and internationally through a host of large retailers, independent retailers and a host of e-commerce retailers throughout the U.S. and Canada.

EZ4x4, our new automotive aftermarket division is geared for the Jeep Wrangler and Ford Bronco enthusiasts. To build this new and exciting market EZ4x4 attends regional and national Jeep shows to introduce our products to consumers. There are 10+ shows a year throughout the country. Our sales team when not traveling to shows will be based at our corporate headquarters in Waterbury, CT.

Our company is growing rapidly so acquiring the best talent is our number one goal

The Sales Manager will be traveling to shows demonstrating and selling our products to Jeep and Bronco consumers, developing leads and relationships. At the office, the salesperson will be creating new sales leads and following up on existing ones. Will also be responsible in hiring a new team as well.

We are looking for self-starters with an incredible drive, have excellent communication skills (verbal and written), and be capable of effectively closing sales. Must be a “Make-It-Happen” individual.

Qualifications Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience in sales
  • Knowledge of sporting goods and automotive aftermarket industry
  • Proficiency in MS Office-Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Excellent organization, and time management skills
  • Direct experience with retail and wholesale products
  • Possess the “gift of gab” skills

The following would be a plus

  • Knows how to interact with big box customers (brick & mortar and e-commerce divisions)
  • Experience within the 4x4, automotive industry
  • College Degree with business background
