The Atlantic Group has partnered with an investment firm in the San Francisco, CA area. They have an immediate need for a Receptionist to join their team. This position is a full-time contract role with the opportunity to become permanent based on performance.

 

Summary:

Receptionists are vital to the success of any company simply because they are every company's first official representative. The primary purpose of the Receptionist is to project a professional and courteous impression to our clients, consultants, employees and any other guests. As the Receptionist, you will handle the flow of people through the business and ensure that all reception-related responsibilities are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner. The Receptionist job description will include a variety of assignments and duties, where possessing a professional attitude, excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills are of utmost importance in the daily operation of the team.

 

Responsibilities

-Respond in a professional manner to queries from the public and customers

-Ensure knowledge of staff movements in and out of the organization

-Monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness

-Provide general administrative and clerical support

-Answer telephone, screen and direct calls

-Greet persons entering the organization

-Direct persons to correct destination

-Prepare correspondence and documents

-Receive and sort mail and deliveries

-Schedule appointments

-Organize conference and meeting room bookings

-Coordinate meetings and organize catering

-Support team on special projects when opportunities arise

 

Requirements:

-Bachelor’s degree required

-Previous experience working in a corporate office

-Previous experience working in the financial services industry is a plus

-Verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking, customer service skills and interpersonal skills.

-Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.

-Ability to keep information organized and confidential.

-Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
