Are you an experienced and driven sales professional seeking an exciting opportunity to lead and mentor a team of junior sales representatives? Join our team as a Senior Sales Representative and play a pivotal role in generating new sales opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and providing guidance to junior sales representatives. As a Senior Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing new business through strategic sales processes, including cold calling and prospect qualification. Additionally, you will have a crucial role in overseeing and mentoring junior sales representatives, contributing to their professional growth and success. Alongside mentoring, you will organize client information, prepare estimates, deliver compelling sales presentations, and ensure smooth project management through the Asphalt Contractors workflow. Your leadership and guidance will be instrumental in achieving overall success for the team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·      Develop new business through strategic sales processes, including cold calling and prospect qualification. Negotiate work and competitively bid projects, while also capitalizing on company-provided leads.

·      Analyze project feasibility on a pre-bid basis, identifying strengths, weaknesses (risks), and overall viability.

·      Efficiently manage and update all leads, prospects, and client information within the designated CRM, adhering to AC's sales process.

·      Present repair solutions and application concepts directly to customers, responding to inquiries about our diverse range of services.

·      Initiate job creation by liaising with clients, preparing estimates, and coordinating schedule requests within the production team.

·      Effectively manage change requests throughout projects, accommodating client-driven changes and adjusting schedules accordingly.

·      Provide regular updates on project status to clients and internal teams, ensuring smooth communication and electronic documentation.

·      Cultivate positive relationships with internal cross-functional teams, clients, subcontractors, vendors, and engineers.

·      Oversee and mentor a small group of junior sales representatives, providing guidance, support, and knowledge-sharing to help them excel in their roles.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

·      Possess a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales or a similar role, demonstrating proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.

·      Prior experience with SketchUp is preferred, showcasing your commitment to continual learning and staying ahead in the construction industry.

·      Display strong leadership and communication skills, proving yourself as a self-driven individual eager to grow in your professional journey.

·      Proficiency in blueprint reading further enhances your qualifications.

·      If you have prior experience in estimating and bidding paving projects, it will be considered a valuable addition to your skillset.
