We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager to join our team in Houston, TX, at our full stack marketing agency. As the Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth within your designated territory. You will play a key role in acquiring new clients, managing relationships, and promoting our comprehensive suite of marketing services.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives within the assigned territory.
  2. Identify and prospect potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking events, and referrals.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
  4. Conduct thorough needs assessments and present tailored solutions to address clients' marketing challenges and objectives.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, creative, and digital specialists, to develop customized proposals and deliverables.
  6. Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients, ensuring profitability and alignment with company policies.
  7. Track and analyze sales performance metrics, including pipeline activity, revenue forecasts, and conversion rates.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
  9. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to generate leads and promote brand awareness.
  10. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on sales activities, achievements, and challenges.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  2. Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably within the marketing or advertising industry.
  3. Strong understanding of marketing principles and strategies, including digital marketing, branding, and lead generation.
  4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions effectively.
  5. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing sales opportunities.
  6. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  7. Experience using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage leads and track sales activities.
  8. Willingness to travel within the designated territory as needed.
  9. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
