SAVECO North America is looking for a Field Service Mechanic to work on-site at different locations, requiring a blend of mechanical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and customer service skills.

In this position you will be responsible for the following:

·       Having the ability to repair, modify, and troubleshoot existing equipment

·       Being able to communicate equipment failures to assist engineering in determining causes and recommend corrective action

·       Being able to advise and assist in changes to improve equipment

·       Attention to detail to spot issues and complete accurate reports about the repairs

·       Inspecting equipment, performing maintenance, rebuilding equipment in the field

 

As a field service mechanic is responsible for training of customer personnel in maintenance and inspection of headworks solids separation equipment. This role requires individuals who can motivate themselves, have strong technical critical thinking skills and the ability to communicate clearly on technical matters. 

What it takes to succeed:

 Experience relevant to wastewater or 5 years of experience with mechanical equipment in a field-related role. You will need to be willing to travel at a minimum of 30% based on business needs and technical abilities. This position requires attention to detail to spot issues and complete accurate reports about the repairs. Having time management and organizational skills are crucial for handling multiple tasks, prioritizing work effectively, and managing service schedules.
