Job DescriptionJob Description

Talento Search Group has an opening for a Manufacturing Engineering Manager within a smaller industrial setting in Gary, Indiana. This is a direct-hire position and the salary range is around $75,000 per year, depending on experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and improve manufacturing methods
  • Automate processes to reduce labor
  • Estimate production time and labor requirements
  • Apply statistical methods to determine future requirements and plant capacity
  • Improve manufacturing methods
  • Perform root cause analysis of manufacturing process issues
  • Estimate production times and staffing requirements
  • Be responsible for the production/engineering department


Experience Needed:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Design, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field is helpful
  • At least 5 years of recent experience in manufacturing engineering
  • At least 2 years of management experience
  • Experience in project and production management
  • Experience with ERP software
