**Janitor Responsibilities**

We are seeking a highly skilled janitor to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of our facility. This role requires physical stamina as you will be required to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs., and perform various cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and maintaining restrooms.

**Janitor Job Summary**
- Sweep and mop floors regularly to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors in accordance with established protocols
- Restock restroom supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
- Perform outdoor cleaning duties such as sweeping walkways, picking up trash, and maintaining outdoor trash receptacles
- Dust furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain a tidy environment
- Clean windows and mirrors
- Operate floor sweepers and other cleaning equipment as needed, ensuring proper usage and maintenance
- Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment when necessary
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate personnel
- Follow instructions and schedule provided by supervisors to complete tasks efficiently
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with colleagues and customers
- Other duties as assigned by management

**We are looking for someone with the following**
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable standing for extended periods during the workday
- 1st shift 7:00am until 3:30pm

**Education**
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment and solvents required
- 1 year prior experience in janitorial or custodial work required
- Operational knowledge of using a riding floor sweeper is preferred
