Reporting to the owner, the bookkeeper will be responsible for recording daily financial transactions, updating a general ledger, monitoring cash flow, generating invoices, and addressing all financial matters timely and accurately. 

Essential Job Responsibilities

Data entry tasks such as timesheets and process Employees timesheets and manage the payroll process.

Record company credit card statements, Job cost labor, material, and expenses, and reconcile accounts. monthly.

Manage account payables and account receivables and process payroll.

Perform weekly billing, monitoring of accounts receivable, deposits and income recognition.

Maintain an accurate general ledger by ensuring complete accuracy in the company’s software. program.

Assist in managing the collection and record keeping of Subcontractor COIs, as well as data entry functions.

Process onboarding paperwork and handle minor human resource functions as needed. 

Maintain all the documentation generated daily regarding invoices, purchases, warehouse supplies, etc.

Record company credit card statements, Job cost labor, material, and expenses. Reconcile accounts monthly.

Perform weekly billing, monitoring of accounts receivable, deposits and income recognition.

Assist in managing the office upkeep, appearance, and supplies, and handle other office administrative tasks as needed.

Essential Requirements

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Advanced knowledge in handling MS Office and MS Excel. 

Proficient in using Google Suite applications (Docs, Sheets, Slides)

Excellent typing speed and accuracy for transcribing purposes

Experience using QuickBooks or similar accounting software is preferred

Strong attention to detail for proofreading documents

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
