Job DescriptionJob Description

J&R Ross Agency, LLC, a professional legal recruiting firm, is seeking an attorney with experience handling all matters involving insurance coverage. This HYBRID role is a perfect fit for an attorney who is interested in working with an established law firm on the defense of motor carriers, their insurers and construction litigation. In addition, the firm also handles other complex civil litigation including premises liability, negligent security, products liability, construction litigation, and professional liability.

 

The successful candidate will enjoy a competitive salary complemented by a full, comprehensive benefits package including Medical Insurance, Vision Plan, Dental Insurance, Life Insurance, 401k and Profit Sharing.

 

Salary Range: $145,000 to $185,000

 

Qualifications

  • JD from an accredited law school
  • Must be admitted to practice in the state of Texas
  • 3-7 years of litigation experience
  • Insurance coverage experience a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Federal court practice is an asset
  • Legal project management experience is helpful
  • Judicial clerkship a plus

 

Responsibilities

  • Handle all aspects of litigation matters involving insurance coverage disputes
  • Analyze complex legal and factual issues
  • Draft coverage opinions, coverage letters and briefing in coverage litigation disputes
  • Develop efficient and effective resolution strategies
  • Communicate timely and effectively with clients, and provide a high level of service
  • Meet court and internal deadlines
