We are seeking a Staffing Coordinator to join our team You will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department.

Responsibilities:

  • Assign and schedule field staff care providers to service for patients
  • Interact with families/patients on service (either in person or via the phone) to better understand the needs and nuances of the home setting. Provide patients/families with accurate schedules; follow-up regarding coverage, call-offs, and cancellation of staff. Ensure branch and clinical leadership is apprised of current status.
  • Interact with care providers hired by/for the branch (in person or on the telephone) to ensure appropriate assignment to cases based on skill sets, schedules, work availability and other relevant/critical information.
  • In coordination with the Human Resource Coordinator (HRC), track hours and attendance for all field care providers.
  • Ensure assignments of care providers support budget driven revenue, gross margin % and control of revenue.
  • Prepare weekly updates regarding newly opened cases and maintain an accurate Active Caseload List. Ensure effective coordination and communication of activities and status with Regional Recruiter, HRC and other as required.
  • Actively participate in regular staff meetings to provide guidance and/or direction/instructions on changes within staffing requirements/needs.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding all aspects of job responsibilities maintaining compliance with HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules.

 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years office experience with excellent customer service skills or 1- year customer service in a home healthcare environment
  • Ability to deal with difficult people and issues
  • Ability to effectively multi-task, be flexible, and work effectively in a demanding, fast paced environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong critical thinking to effectively assess and assign caregivers to patients
  • Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing, and phone manner
  • Bilingual Spanish Speaking
