Our most ideal candidate for this position will be licensed as a Journeyman or Master Electrician in Minnesota and/or Wisconsin. Reason being, this position will have the ability to float between two of our territories that hub out of Rochester, MN and Madison, WI. We service the surrounding area of both locations. Living in either location, or more central in the La Crosse, WI area will make commuting more balanced across the territory. In this position, you will complete residential solar projects alongside our in-house install teams. As we strive to expand and cultivate our presence in these newer territories, there’s a lot of ground to cover & lots of work to be done

Qualifications:

  • A valid Residential Journeyman, Residential Master, Journeyman, or Master Electrician License is required for this position
  • Work Part Time. Expected Hours: Less than 30 hours per week. Schedule will be communicated ahead of time and various factors will determine how many jobs we schedule for this individual
  • Experience reading and interpreting one line drawings and electrical schematics
  • Complete quality installation based on design specifications
  • Capable of lifting 50 lbs. throughout the workday
  • Maintain Required Tools
  • Experience replacing residential electrical services and distribution panels
  • Willing to work in confined spaces, at heights, and utilizing ladders
  • Travel on occasion with notice (all expenses paid + per diem for travel)
  • Maintain reliable transportation & a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities:

  • As our part time on-site electrician, you will be responsible for installing the inverter, disconnects, wiring, and testing the interconnection of the system. In addition to electrical work, we are seeking a team player willing to assist with other facets of the solar installation process as needed.
