Job Description

Join a leading line pipe distributor in Pearland as a Safety Coordinator on a direct hire basis. In this role, you'll meet with the Safety Committee monthly to discuss any problems and any necessary changes to the Safety Manual. If you're a dependable and detail-oriented individual looking for a valuable opportunity, we want to hear from you

 

Responsibilities:

  • Update the safety manuals as needed.
  • Keep all employees trained in the safety procedures and provide all documentation of all training.
  • Make sure all employees are training on the appropriate procedural tasks
  • Provide claim information on damaged material to vendors and accounts payable.
  • Keep management updated of any safety concerns.
  • Conduct compliance audits to the Safety Manual.

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 5 years of safety experience in an industrial setting
  • Bachelor degree or experience in quality or safety
  • Requires up to 30% of travel
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
