Duties:
- Conduct land surveys using advanced equipment such as GPS, robotics, and total stations
- Collect and analyze data to determine property boundaries, elevations, and other relevant information
- Prepare detailed reports, maps, and drawings based on survey findings
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction teams to provide accurate survey data for project planning and design
- Utilize software programs such as Civil 3D, CAD, and GIS to assist in survey data analysis and mapping
- Perform calculations and measurements to ensure accuracy of survey results
- Maintain survey equipment and ensure proper calibration and functionality
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during fieldwork
Experience:
- Proven experience working as a Land Surveyor or similar role
- Strong knowledge of land surveying principles, techniques, and equipment
- Proficiency in using GPS technology for data collection
- Ability to analyze survey data and create accurate maps using software programs such as Civil 3D, CAD, or GIS
- Familiarity with reading schematics, blueprints, and legal documents related to land surveys
- Excellent mathematical skills for calculations related to land measurements
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour
