Small, fast paced law firm seeks mature person whom has the ability to work independently and under pressure while performing daily tasks.

Qualifications:

  • College Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Prior experience with MyCase and Westlaw Form Builder preferred.
  • Possess excellent organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality.
  • Basic math and analytical skills
  • Ability to be self-motivated and work independently.
  • Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and adjust priorities as required.
  • Work well with moderate supervision and clearly defined tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Minimum of one-year legal experience, required.

Duties and Responsibilities to include, but not bound to:

  • Greet clients and assist with client intake.
  • Perform advanced, diversified and confidential secretarial and administrative duties.
  • Schedule and maintain calendar of appointments, court/trial settings and meetings.
  • Filing and organization of client files.
  • Communication with clients via e-mail and phone regarding cases and status
  • Assist drafting pleadings, discovery, and orders
  • Organized client furnished material in response to discovery requests
  • Assist client with responses and document production in response to discovery
  • Answer and transfer calls on a multi-line phone system.
  • Arrange messengers for outside deliveries, as needed.
  • Handle sensitive and/or confidential documents and information.
  • Additional duties as required.

In person interviews will be scheduled for May 1-3, 2024. Pay based on experience and ability.
