Clinical Program Director

The Program Director manages all aspects of behavioral health care services in the program and at least one other mental health program in the Adult and/or TAY divisions. The Program Director must apply a multidisciplinary approach to promote optimum outcomes in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of our clients living with mental illness. The Program Director will have the opportunity to manage multiple programs in accordance with behavioral health contracts and to establish quality measures for mental health service providers division-wide, as needed. This person manages and oversees clinical mental health services including but not limited to establishing clinical practice policy and protocols, case conferencing, quality assurance & improvement, reviewing treatment plans while setting the pace for a high-performance, productive program and operational and administrative excellence.
Qualifications:
- Currently licensed for a minimum of 2 years as an MFT, LCSW or Psychologist who meets BBS/BOP requirements for clinical supervision, e.g., required CE units for clinical supervision.
- At least three years prior experience in administration, coordination with supervision of mental health and/or case management/counseling services programs required
- Prior work experience in a social services or healthcare setting as a direct client services provider (i.e. case management, social worker, or other) highly preferred.
- Knowledge of San Francisco Community Behavioral Health Services and community resources
- Knowledge of County, State and Federal requirements for documentation and reporting
